Quite nice for the price. By this I mean that I did not get a robustly engineered rack (the load carrying would be inadequate were it not that the truck has a double-walled bed), but neither did I pay for one; I did not get an aluminum rack, but neither did I pay for one. I am confident that I put two loads of about 600 lbs on the rack, drove a relatively rugged mountain road, and saw no signs of strain. I am happy with my purchase, but I will be surprised if my truck rack outlasts my (Toyota) truck.(P.S. Don says that by "robustly engineered" he means that it wasn't sufficiently engineered so that it could be as securely fastened to the truck as a rack that was custom made for the particular truck.)
